Umbra does not predict direction. It waits for gold's own structure to declare itself — a sweep of liquidity, a retrace into a defined zone, a session context that warrants attention. When the four conditions align, the engine commits. When they don’t, it sits out.

Do I need trading experience to run this?+
You need a MetaTrader 5 account with a decent broker and basic familiarity with attaching an Expert Advisor to a chart. No chart reading, no signal interpretation, no judgement calls. Umbra's onboarding walks you through setup on day one.
What kind of capital makes sense to start?+
$3,000 USD minimum, $5,000 recommended, $50,000 hard cap per licence. Lot sizing is balance-proportional, so smaller accounts under-trade. The sweet spot is $5,000–$10,000 — enough for the engine to size properly, small enough that the drawdown ceiling is meaningful. Above $50K, open a second licensed account; the engine is calibrated against per-account exposure and the cap keeps execution clean. Treat Umbra as one allocation of several. Not an all-in product.
What happens when the market goes against the trade?+
HYDRA engages in layers — grid management first, shield hedge if the move accelerates, dynamic recovery to unwind at break-even. If none of those resolve, the hard drawdown floor closes the cycle at 25% account-level. The account continues. The cycle resets. No margin calls, no surprises.
How do I know the results are real?+
Every result is published live to MyFXBook, which verifies trades directly from the broker's server via read-only API. You can see every position, every entry, every exit — updated in real time. Nothing is screenshot-based. Nothing is cherry-picked. The link goes straight to the verified account.
Is the source code available?+
No. Umbra ships as a compiled, server-locked MT5 binary. The logic is transparent — every decision is exposed on the chart panel, every rule documented in the client knowledge base — but the implementation remains proprietary. The defence architecture specifically is never licensed for inspection, copy, or derivation.
What payment options are available?+
Card only, billed monthly through Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, AmEx. No wallet connections, no key-handling — payment is entirely separate from the trading account.

I built Umbra because I was tired of paying my own bills with discretionary trades on gold. Two screens, three sessions, one bad week and the year is over. I wanted the read I'd been making by hand — sweep, retrace, structural confirmation — to be a piece of software that didn't get tired, didn't get greedy, and didn't get clever.
Umbra is what I run on my own capital. The version you license is the same engine, the same defence layer, the same parameter set. Not a watered-down retail copy. The product is the engine, not the marketing around it.
